Healthy Start Coalitions

The primary responsibility of Healthy Start Coalitions is to improve efficiency and effectiveness of local health care delivery systems for pregnant women and infants. Coalitions ensure that systems of care are responsive to poor pregnancy and birth outcomes. There are presently 30 community based Healthy Start Coalitions covering 64 of Florida’s 67 counties.
