Tuesday, November 1st marks the first day of open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act. From November 1 to January 31, consumers living in the Florida will have the opportunity to enroll in quality, affordable health coverage or renew their plan if they already have coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Last year, over 1.7 million Floridians were enrolled in health coverage through the Marketplace, providing them with the peace of mind that comes with protecting themselves and their families. This coming open enrollment period is the next opportunity consumers have to take advantage of the coverage options available through the Affordable Care Act. Here are some things every consumer needs to know about the upcoming open enrollment period:
